The Care Hub Plus is a care solution made up of a wearable alarm and base unit that alerts family and friends via the SECOM Care app or our 24-hour-a-day monitoring service should there be an emergency.

Help if you need it

Get on with your day-to-day life knowing there’s a backup should you need it. As well as featuring a button you can press, your waterproof pendant alarm is fitted with sensors that can detect if you’ve had a fall. The innovative six-stage algorithm will automatically send an alert if it determines you require assistance.

Linked to your loved ones’ smartphones

Notifications from your Care Hub Plus will be sent directly to your loved ones’ smartphones, so they can offer help. Should your friends and family be uncontactable, you have the added support of SECOM’s monitoring team, who can escalate an incident to the emergency services if necessary.

The Care Hub Plus is packed with innovative features to ensure you feel totally safe in your own home. They include:

  • Waterproof wearable – so you can keep your personal alarm on even in the shower or bath.
  • 300m signal range – stepping out into the garden is no problem as your pendant will still connect to the base unit.
  • Two-year battery life – means there’s no need to charge your pendant and we’ll automatically send you a new one when it needs replacing.
  • Fall detection – sensors will alert your loved ones or the monitoring team if you appear to have fallen and may not be able to reach the button.
  • Future proof – with a built-in SIM, our personal alarms do not rely on landlines or the internet to function.

*There is a one-off setup fee of £82.92 (£99.50 including VAT) that covers the delivery and registration of your device.

You may require a personal alarm because you’ve been diagnosed with a long-term health condition or a physical or mental disability. If so, you may be exempt from VAT on your personal alarm costs.

A one-off setup cost of £82.92 (£99.50 including VAT) will be charged initially, which is then followed by a monthly fee to pay for device rental and monitoring services.

Care Hub Plus is a rental service, which means you only have to pay for renting your equipment. This keeps the initial cost of signing up down and means you don’t have to worry about replacing your device – if anything breaks or wears over time, we’ll replace it free of charge!
