With commitment to customer service SECOM has been honoured with awards recognising our innovation, dedication to security and implementation of bespoke security systems. We are pleased to highlight some of these awards here from many distinguished organisations.
SECOM is proud to announce that our company has (once again!) been selected to appear on the prestigious Forbes Global 2000 list for 2022. The Forbes list is an annual ranking where 2000 of the world’s largest public companies are showcased based on four metrics – sales, profits, assets and market value.
SECOM won this global accolade for work at the cutting edge of CCTV-based security.
Use of the internationally acclaimed Milestone video management software for systems serving some of its leading UK customers saw SECOM being named as Milestone’s 2018 Northern Europe partner of the year.
The award was announced at the Milestone Integration Platform Symposium. The event brings together partners from the Americas, EMEA and APAC regions who collaborate, network and learn about global trends in the VMS industry.
SECOM were selected from 12 finalists at the awards ceremony held at the London Hilton. The award recognises our work to develop and implement an intelligence-led, 24/7 system to cut stock losses and improve in-store safety within the retail sector.
Central to the award, was our ROGUES system; an abbreviation of “Repeat Offenders Gallery Under Electronic Surveillance”. With benefits to both staff and customers, the system works by triggering an alert when a known habitual offender or suspect enters a store, automatically forewarning store guards that the individual is operating within their area, and providing them with “real-time” details such as clothing.
SECOM was also shortlisted for Security Project of the Year at the awards, which are currently in their 18th year.
We are delighted to announce that SECOM have been shortlisted in two categories for the prestigious Retail Knowledge Fraud Awards 2017! We are nominated for ‘Most Innovative In-Store Surveillance’ and ‘Best Collaborative Solution’
Our entry in the Most Innovative Store Surveillance category focused on our work with Co-op, specifically the ‘ROGUES’ innovations and our integrated security program, which has seen a 60% reduction in violent incidents, a 40% drop in anti-social behaviour and shoplifting, and overall losses reduced by 20%.
Our Best Collaborative Solution entry highlighted our highly successful collaboration with CAP Index and Kingdom to provide the Co-op with a fully integrated, multi-disciplinary security partnership.
The National Apprenticeships Service celebrated the 10th Annual National Apprenticeship Week between the 6th – 10th March 2017. National Apprenticeship Week is about celebrating the best in apprenticeships and traineeships. SECOM’s Intelligent CCTV technology can distinguish between suspicious and safe behaviour avoiding unnecessary alerts to the central monitoring station. While activated by all movement, the CCTV does not transmit non-threatening alerts such as an animal crossing in its path.
