Accessing Your Alert Log

Our commercial intruder alarm system comes with the ability to view alerts online, so you can receive a notification on the other side of the world in real-time. You also have access to previous alerts, which you can compare and review to identify any patterns or recurring problems across any of your sites.

Alarm Receiving Centres

Your commercial intruder alarm system will be connected to our state-of-the-art Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), which is manned 24/7 by SECOM security experts. They monitor your alarms and react with utmost priority when an intruder has breached your premises, or if alarms are activated.

If your alarm is activated, we have different response types available to suit your needs:

  • Keyholder Only: You will be notified of an alarm activation via the SECOM app, and you will receive a call from our monitoring team.
  • Key Response Service & Police Response: If you do not answer after being informed of an alarm activation at your business, the police will be alerted and a professional keyholder will be dispatched to your site to investigate the alarm and secure the premises.
  • Keyholder & Police Response: If you do not answer after being informed of an alarm activation at your business, we will alert the police.
  • Guard Patrol Response: Once your alarm has been activated and received by the ARC, a fully vetted security professional is sent to your premises to conduct a thorough external check. They will not enter the property, and will immediately notify the police and wait for them if there are signs of a break-in.
