Being able to talk to someone when you need help is very reassuring and that’s what you get with CareTech’s Care Hub. As well as a wearable personal alarm, the base unit in your home enables two-way communication with your loved ones or SECOM’s response team.
Help at the touch of a button
The Care Hub system can be easily linked to the SECOM Care app, which will send a notification to your emergency contacts if you press the button on your Pearl pendant. Once activated, the device will flash red to confirm that your signal has been sent. If there’s no response from your loved ones, our personnel can assess the situation and organise appropriate help.
Complete peace of mind
Your waterproof device can be worn all day, even if you’re taking a bath or shower, so you’ll always be protected. Knowing you can reach someone in an emergency will give you the confidence to live independently in your own home.

No Charging
Our standard pendant alarm has a battery life of five years. When the battery gets low, we will automatically receive a low-charge warning and send you a replacement free of charge.
300m signal range
With a 300m peripheral range as standard, the Care Hub personal alarm system allows you to call for help at the press of a button from anywhere in your home or garden.
70-hour backup battery
One of the Care Hub’s most important safety features is its powerful backup battery. It is over three times the industry average and ensures your alarm call is received even in the event of a blackout.
How much will a Care Hub cost me?

Excluding VAT*
Many of the people who decide to purchase Care Hub do so because they have a long-term health condition or a physical or mental disability. This often leads to them being exempt from VAT on their personal alarm costs, so it’s worth establishing if you are too.
A one-off setup fee of £82.92 (£99.50 including VAT) will be applied to your Care Hub installation, followed by a monthly fee that covers rental of the device and monitoring.
